Returns, transport damage and warranty

This shop is directed exclusively at entrepreneurs within the meaning of Sec. 14 of the German Civil Code. Entrepreneurs have no statutory right of withdrawal. Our General Terms and Conditions apply.

Transport damage

Please check the shipment for completeness and externally visible damage immediately on receipt. Report obvious defects and transport damage to us without delay, at the latest within seven days of receipt, to shop@wallpen.com, stating the order number and enclosing meaningful photographs. Your duty to inspect the goods and give notice of defects under Sec. 377 of the German Commercial Code remains unaffected.

Incorrect delivery

If an item other than the one ordered has been delivered, please also report this to shop@wallpen.com. We will arrange the return at our expense and deliver the correct item.

Warranty

In the event of defects in the goods you are entitled to subsequent performance, either by remedying the defect or by delivering goods free of defects. If subsequent performance fails, you are entitled to reduce the purchase price or to withdraw from the contract. The limitation period is twelve months from the passing of risk. Details are governed by clause 8 of our General Terms and Conditions.

Return of goods free of defects

We are not obliged to take back goods that are free of defects. As a gesture of goodwill we accept unopened and unused original goods within 14 days of receipt, provided that we have agreed to the return in writing in advance. Please request the return before dispatch at shop@wallpen.com; we cannot process goods returned without prior notice. You bear the cost of the return.

Custom-made items and goods procured specifically for the customer are excluded from return, as are opened inks and other dangerous goods whose return shipment is subject to special regulations.

Refund

After receipt and inspection of the return you will receive a credit note. The refund is made by the same means by which the payment was received.
